Community network TCI-D9 (Turks and Caicos Divine Nine) donated more than $1,500 worth of diapers to the Department of Family and Children Services across the Turks and Caicos Islands on July 1, 2026.
Led by President Kendrick Forbes, members funded the entire drive internally, then loaded, transported, and unloaded the boxes themselves. The coalition unites local members from nine historically Black Greek-letter organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
The group described the diaper drive as an initial effort, with members planning to identify further opportunities to serve and uplift families across the wider community as the organization expands.
