The Turks and Caicos Islands recorded 384,590 stayover visitors during the first six months of 2026, marking a six percent increase over the same period last year. Every month from January through June exceeded 2025 arrivals, producing the destination's strongest first half on record.

Tourism authority Experience Turks and Caicos noted that second-quarter arrivals rose five percent to reach an all-time high for the period. Minister of Tourism Zhavargo Jolly said the continued growth reflects traveller confidence and the work of local tourism workers, while authorities reported a 42 percent year-over-year reduction in violent crime alongside heightened police visibility. The territory has already added 177 hotel rooms in 2026, including Hotel Indigo Turks and Caicos, Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos, and 20 suites at Ellipse Grace Bay.

Further growth is scheduled for later in 2026, led by the 184-room Andaz Turks and Caicos at Grace Bay. BermudAir will add or expand Providenciales service to six United States airports between October and May 2027, while United Airlines will launch nonstop flights from Denver in December 2026.
