Red Hot Fashion Event has returned for its third year, with the Turks and Caicos Islands Red Cross hosting a charity gala on Saturday, 15 November, from 6-8 p.m. at The Palms in Providenciales. Attendees will be required to dress in red-chic attire, and the evening will showcase sustainable thrifted designs, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and a $75 ticket that directly funds emergency relief and community programmes. The event is expected to raise the largest sum yet for the Red Cross’s vital work, blending style, philanthropy and local talent into one memorable night.

Cox, a 17-year veteran with an engineering degree and MBA, led the rapid post-hurricane power recovery and will steer the utility toward a more sustainable, resilient energy future. Meanwhile, Premier Misick has launched Operation Dragnet, a fiscal initiative to close a $8.5 million shortfall in hotel and restaurant taxes and an $8.3 million gap in stamp-duty collections. The operation includes a customs-tariff audit and a push for revenue compliance to stabilise the islands’ economy.

The Court of Appeal has ordered a residence permit for the same-sex spouse of Richard Sankar, expanding the definition of “spouse” in the Immigration Ordinance to include foreign-married same-sex couples. The ruling,
