Deputy Governor and Head of the Public Service Her Excellency Anya Williams presented funds raised during the 2nd Annual Deputy Governor’s 5K Run/Walk at a ceremony held on September 29, 2026, at The Palms Resort. The event, which took place across the Turks and Caicos Islands on June 6, 2026, successfully generated a total of $108,799 to support local non-profit organizations.
The proceeds were divided among three beneficiaries: the National Cancer Society of the TCI received $46,980, Ashley’s Learning Centre was awarded $34,434, and United Way Turks and Caicos accepted $27,385. Representatives including Claudine Ewing, Lucille Campbell, and Ben Avenant attended the handover. The Office of the Deputy Governor credited the success to the corporate partners, sponsors, and volunteers who supported the initiative.
