Invest Turks and Caicos Islands (Invest TCI) revealed during its fifth Annual General Meeting on September 15, 2026, at The Ritz-Carlton that it currently manages an active investment pipeline of 53 projects valued at approximately $6.335 billion. The agency also reported a record-breaking 140 applications for its small business programme.
Chief Executive Officer Angela Musgrove noted that the agency’s focus now extends to the economic impact of these projects, including construction activity and local business linkages. Premier and Minister of Finance, Trade and Investment Charles Washington Misick urged that progress must be measured by how Turks and Caicos Islanders advance alongside growth, rather than by capital alone. Invest TCI Chairperson Cindy Ewing stated that investment must primarily serve to develop the nation's people. Two Development Agreements have also been executed under the Heritage Turks and Caicos Islander Investment Policy.
Future efforts will center on workforce development, with the recent meeting highlighting the need for stronger collaboration between the government, investors, and training institutions. A panel discussion explored strategies to align education with industry demands for specialized roles. The meeting concluded with recognition for agency employees who reached five and 10 years of service.
