The Road Dogs Running Club has scheduled its second annual Run of Nations 5K and 10K race for January 23, 2027. The event, which aims to unite the diverse communities across the Turks and Caicos Islands through fitness, will open registration on October 1, 2026.

Organizers are planning for a significant expansion, setting a goal to attract more than 500 participants to the race. This follows the inaugural event in Grace Bay held on January 17, 2026, which raised funds for Potcake Place K-9 Rescue. As a registered nonprofit and member of the Turks and Caicos Islands Sport Commission, the club has recently joined the Turks and Caicos Amateur Athletic Association. President Leonardo “Leo” Lightbourne stated the club intends to use this affiliation to pursue sanctioned status for the event, aligning it with World Athletics standards as they work toward establishing a full marathon in the territory.

The club is currently inviting sponsorship and collaboration inquiries as it prepares for the upcoming race. Interested parties or prospective runners can reach the organization via email at RoadDogsTCI@gmail.com or by calling +1 (649) 343-9582 or +1 (649) 245-5466 for further information.
