Selena Grant will represent the Turks and Caicos Islands at the 75th Miss Universe competition in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 24, 2026, after the Miss Universe Turks and Caicos organisation appointed her rather than staging a local pageant this year.
The organisation announced her appointment on Monday, September 15, having already said it would not host a local competition in 2026. Grant was first runner-up in 2024 and 2025, and in 2024 finished first runner-up at Miss Global International. In 2024 she also founded Barbara's Lighthouse, a youth-centred nonprofit whose first major initiative, Project BREATHE, focuses on youth mental health and wellness. "Crown or no crown, this work continues," Selena Grant said.
The 75th Miss Universe will be held at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, with more than 130 representatives expected to compete.
