BermudAir will begin the first nonstop flights connecting the New York area to South Caicos on December 20, 2026. The seasonal route from Newark Liberty International Airport brings travellers directly to the Turks and Caicos Islands destination in 3.5 hours.

Flights will run twice weekly on Sundays and Thursdays using Embraer E190 aircraft, operating through April 25, 2027. One-way fares start at $347, with roundtrip tickets from $773. The service lands at South Caicos International Airport, approximately 10 minutes from Salterra, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa. Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir, noted that travellers can now fly nonstop to both South Caicos and Providenciales.

Tickets went on sale on August 20, 2026, at flybermudair.com, alongside stay packages at salterra.com. The airline's BermudAir Holidays division will introduce bundled vacation packages for South Caicos starting in September 2026. The route joins seven other winter services the carrier previously announced to Providenciales from cities across the United States and Canada, beginning between October and December 2026.
