NBA champion Trevor Ariza returned to the Turks and Caicos Islands to host the 2026 Trevor Ariza Celebrity Impact Weekend from July 31 to August 2, 2026. The multi-day gathering brought professional athletes together to mentor local youth, promote sports tourism, and raise resources for homegrown athletic development.
Produced by BIG Limited, the weekend featured sports figures including Paul Pierce, Aaron Gordon, Matt Barnes, and Dante Hall. Activities included leadership workshops, community service, and a free youth basketball clinic run with former Major League Baseball pitcher Tyson Ross’s foundation, Loyal to My Soil. Supported by Hoop Culture and the Turks and Caicos Islands Sports Commission, the clinic provided skills training, gear giveaways, and custom jerseys to 150 local youth participants.
Events wrapped up on Providenciales with the 2nd Annual Trevor Ariza Celebrity Golf Tournament and Charity Gala at Lua Beach House, hosted at Windward's South Bank Resort. Proceeds went to the Athlete Development Fund (ADF), a Turks and Caicos Islands Sports Commission initiative that finances training and competition costs to help local athletes reach international competition.
