Bahamas Governor-General Dame Cynthia "Mother" Pratt will headline the 2026 Turks and Caicos Islands National Prayer Breakfast, which this year marks 50 Years of Ministerial Governance in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The Ministry of Public Safety, Gender and Religious Affairs, and Social Welfare, led by Hon. Shaun Malcolm, is organizing the gathering of government officials, religious leaders, diplomats and the wider community. The theme, "Faith in Our Journey, Hope for Our Future," draws on Jeremiah 29:11. Pratt, known across The Bahamas as "Mother" Pratt, is expected to speak on faith, servant leadership, resilience and spiritual values in national development.
The breakfast forms part of the official 50th anniversary observance and remains one of the country's premier national events.
