Muslims across the Turks and Caicos Islands gathered on Friday, March 20, 2026, to celebrate Eid Al Fitr, concluding the holy month of dawn-to-dusk fasting observed during Ramadan. Worshippers met for morning prayers at the Al Noor Mosque, located above the African Shop on Leeward Highway.
The territory is home to an estimated one hundred Muslims from diverse international backgrounds as well as several indigenous Turks and Caicos Islanders who have reverted to Islam. Local community members work across vital sectors, serving as police officers, doctors, nurses, teachers, lawyers, bankers, hospitality staff, accountants and contractors.
Community support and religious services continue through the Turks and Caicos Islands Muslim Association Inc., a registered non-profit organisation established in 2010 to offer a space for worship and support Muslims living throughout the islands.
